On-Premises Infrastructure

Depending on the company and business, this can be about one site as much and can have different hardware and software, including servers, computers or databases. On-premise means that the company maintains all this IT infrastructure on site, managed by itself or by a third party.

With on-premise infrastructure, all services are performed, managed and maintained by the company on its own hardware and servers. Other companies may choose to do so for reasons of consistency or security, however it is more expensive and offers less convenience.
